BICE ESPLANADE, MISSION BAY (in the foreground), is in an exceedingly rough state, and the Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, is hopeful of having it paved this summer to complete the Tamaki Drive. Workmen are now engaged in preparing a bus station on the reserve, opposite Patteson Avenue. This is being constructed because there is danger to children who have to cross the road to board city-bound buses.
