DIVINE HEALING.

All Scripture is inspired by God. That does not mean certain portions of it, but aIL The Scripture certainly says, "If any are sick among you call for the Elders of the Church. They shall annoint you with oil and the Prayer of shall save you." It also refers to handkerchiefs; Some wise men would have us believe these things belong to tlm past. But the same wise men preach, "Christ, the same yesterday, to-day and forever." If He healed when on earth, why not to-day? Did he not say, "These things that I do shall ye do also, and greater things shall ye do that My Father may be glorified through me"? If we are to accept the teachings of the Scripture as being true and inspired by God, and, strange to say, the various Churches teach us everything else except this particular gift, why must we not accept these statements regarding Divine healing? Prom my point of view if these passages are spurious, then the whole Book is a myth and not only are faith healers wrong but all clergy and Churches are teaching us fables, and the sooner we send them about their business the better. -There is also a passage in the Scriptures which says, "By their fruits you will know them." I am not supporting any faith healer, but merely wish to learn if any minister or debater is going to admit that the Scriptures are wrong. It seems to me that all this talk of challenges to debate, articles in the papers, etc., are very un-Christianlike and are apt to help atheists and scoffers to say, "I told you so! There is nothing in religion." Do the Churches recognise that every weapon they use against faith or divine healing is a weapon against their own teaching? To my way of reading the Scriptures, God says He will heal the sick providing they believe on Him. That surely is a plain statement. Either it is true or not true. If it is not true then why teach Scripture at all? SIMPLE FAITH.
