BRADFORD MARKET, FIRM. (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, October* 31. The Bradford market is firm. Fine Merinos ■ and crossbreds are hardening owing to the depreciation in sterling. THE PRICE OF GOLD. (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON; October 31. Gold is quoted at £6 5/5 per ounce. MELBOURNE WOOL SALES. (Received 2.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. October wool sales closed with, the market practically on a par with last week. Japan and the Continent were buying freely. At Perth the third series of wool sales met with good competition. Continental and Bradford buyers were active. Crossbred fleece was firm and lambs stronger. Best price was 13% d for super Merino. WHEAT CARGOES, ETC. (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 31. Wheat cargoes, influenced by lower foreign advices were offered 3d to 6d down. China is inquiring for Australians, but no trading has been done. Parcels are unchanged to 3d down, with only a spasmodic inquiry. Futures: London, December, 23/4 per quarter; FebruaryApril, 22/9; Liverpool, December, 5/2% per cental; March, 5/0%. WILSONS (N.Z.) CEMENT. USUAL INTERIM DIVIDEND. The directors of Wilsons' (N.Z.) Portland Cement, Limited, have declared an interim dividend for "the half-year ended September 30 of 1/ a share. The dividend, which, is at the usual rate, is payable on November 28. DONAGHY'S ROPE COMPANY. USUAL INTERIM DIVIDEND. An interim dividend of 9d a ehare has been declared by Donaghy's Rope and Twine Company, Limited, of Dunedin. The dividend is at the usual rate.
