THAMES, this day.

The borough commissioner, Mr. C. L. Grange, has been advised by Mr. A. M. The Public Works Department, Mr. Samuel states, has offered to help with electrical power for the purpose of testing low-grade ore in the Thames district and has promised to make an early commencement with work which should absorb a number of unemployed and have a beneflclal effect. Mr. Samuel has promised to continue his efforts in connection with the rehabilitation of the town.
