GOLD AT CROMWELL. PROFESSOR PARK'S VIEWS. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") DUNEDIN, Monday. "Tlie most promising alluvial gold field T have seen in recent years." was Professor Park's verdict of the Cromwell Flat strike, which he visited on Saturday. Professor Park made no secret of the fact that he was greatly impressed by the richness of the strike, and the possibilities for further development. He is still confident that other' similar channels will be found back in the flat. "You have a lot of gold in your district." he said, "but you will have to work to get it."
