AUSTRALIAN STOCK EXCHANGES. SYDNEY, October 27. On the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day the turnover was relatively light, but a better sentiment for Commonwealth bonds is believed to have been due to the altered point of view of the Premiers Conference in cutting loan requirements to £8.000,000, which is regarded as less disturbing than £20,000,000. Weakness continued in leading industrial shares, and there ivas a sharp setback in Tooth s breweries. This morning's sales were:—Commonwealth. 4 per cent bonds, 1938, £101 11/3; 1941. £101 15/; 1953, £100 15/; 1955, £100 15/■ 1957, £101 5/.
