HUTT HELD UP.
Owing to a last-niinute hitch in connection with the transport of his wife and child, Lou Ilutt, the Ponsonby and New Zealand Rugby League International, did not sail for England yesterday by the steamer Remuera to join his old club, St. Helens. Mrs. Ilutt found it inconvenient to leave with her husband, but the club cabled that the family was to embark in toto. . . A committee of the combined senior Auckland clubs has arranged for the return to New Zealand of the ex-Richmond player, Trevor Ilanlou- and liis faroilj. The passages were booked yesterday and a cable sent to the player advising him to sail by the lonic, which will leave Southampton on November 4, and will reach Auckland shortly before Christmas.
