DUNEDIN DEERSTALKER.

MISSING SINCE SUNDAY.

SEARCH PARTIES OUT. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.".) DUNISDIN, this day. Fears are entertained for the safety of Mr. John Brindson, aged 27 years, a married man with one child, a resident of Moegiel, who has been last on the Blue Mountains since 1 p.m. on Sunday. He is a cooper at Speight's Brewery. Iβ company with others, he went on a week-end deerstalking expedition, and was missed from the party shortly after mid-day on Sunday.

His companions conducted a thorough search of the locality through which they had passed, but without avail, ano' at daybreak yesterday the search party again scoured the mountains without success. Word of the occurrence was received at the Dunedin police station last evening, and steps were immediately taken to form a further search party, which will be on the spot to-day, to conduct an intensive search. The missing stalker had previous ex* perience in pig hunting, but this ie tht first time he had been stalking.
