CORONER ADJOURNS INQUEST.

So far the polive have not yet traced the driver of the Sinner car which is alleged to have struck Miss Elizabeth Bott, aged 03, who was killed on the (treat South Road at 7.20 on Saturday evening - .

The inquest was- opened by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.iT.", this morning, when evidence of identification was given.

Sergeant Finch, of Newmarket, said the police inquiries showed that Miss Bott came from England about four years ago. She had no relatives iji New Zealand.

A young man who saw deceased on Saturday afternoon stated that she wae in good health and had all her faculties. Miss Bott told him that she was going to a city picture theatre that evening. The inquest was then adjourned sine die.
