THAMES VALLEY A., P. AND H. SHOW.

At a meeting of the Thames Valley A., P and H. Association on Saturday, the president, Mr. W. T. Dale, presided A letter was received to the effect that the Governor-General regretted he would be unable to visit Te Aroha to open the show on November 23. The Paeroa Girl Guides intimated their intention to be present at the show. _ A letter was received from Mr. A. Missen, of Hamilton, congratulating the association on including a section for a boys and youths judging competition. The Radio Suppliers wrote -offering to supply a public address equipment for announcement purposes, and it was decided to accept the offer for people's day. The Waihou Domain Board wrote stating they would require 10 per cent of the gate receipts. After a brief discussion it was decided to defer consideration until next meeting. It was decided to ask the borough council to control the traffic on November 23. The offer of the Chamber of Commerce to decorate the industrial shed for show days was accepted. Arrangements were made to make the parade of stock even more attractive than in former years.
