HILLSBORO' CLUB.
The Hillsboro' Bowling Club s official opening was held under Rood weather conditions. Visitors were preset from neighbouring clubs, also Messrs. .T. White. .1. Pascoe and R. Sheath, of the Auckland Bowling Centre. Mr. S. Scarborough., president of the club, welcomed the visitors, and declared the preen open. Miss Scarborough threw the first jack. Mr. J. A. White spoke <.:i behalf of the iuckland Centre, and expressed great pleasure in making liis first personal visit to the green. The following games were played : — Monk.
