FLUCTUATIONS IN SHARES. WEEK OPENS QUIETLY. Bidding at the first call of the wecl opened lather quietly 011 the Aucklant Stock Exchange, and only one sale was pu through. This was of Waihis, whicl maintained the recent value of 17/3. Government stocks were firm at las week's prices, £95 being offered for tin 414's and £90 10/ for the s%'s. Buyers for Loan and Mercantile scri] advanced their offers to £55. The Noon Call. Little was moving at the noon call. Oni; one transaction was reported during tin morning, and for the rest quotations weri mostly level. Buyers for Colonial Sugars have conn forward at £47 15/ in answer to a sellinj quotation of £48 15/. Dunlop, Perdriau; have sellers again at 15/3. No buyers liavi been enticed to make an offer.
