WAIKATO MEETING. PEGAWAY BEATEN. WINNERS WELL BACKED. DIRECT MORNING'S DOUBLE. The Waikato Trotting Club's meeting on Saturday proved, enjoyable, and the racing wae always interesting. A light shower or two fell during the afternoon, but the track was in good order. The unhoppled pacer Direct Morning put up a fine performance by winning the double. During the day the totaliaator registered £9752 10/ for eight races, compared with £9320 for seven races at the spring meeting la6t year.
