STAFF DANCE.
A successful social and dance was held in the Mayfair Cabaret, Karangahape Road', on Wednesday evening 'by members of the staff of Heards, Ltd., Parnell. There was an attendance of over 200 couples and it was successful and enjoyable. Bright and snappy music was rendered by the cabaret orchestra. The object of the dance was to raise funds to assist the team of Heards, Ltd., which is competing at the A.G.A.A. carnival. The members of the committee were: Mrs. S. Horne, Miss E. Herdson, Miss D. Herdson, Miss G. Culliford, Mr. H. Roberson, Mr. S. Tilton, Mr. F. Scholium. Among those present: Mrs. Heard, blue georgette and gold bridge coat; Mrs. Carroll, pink silk; Mrs. Gadson, floral georgette; Mrs. Watson, blue satin; Mrs. Forgerty, 'black sifk; Mrs. 'Carlton, cream silk; Mrs. Walker, white silk; Mrs. Horne, figured crepe de chine, black bridge coat; Mrs. W. O'Brien, blue satin beaute, grey coatee; Miss Sutcliffe, pink satin, black bridge coat; Miss M. Armor, apricot satin and white fur; Miss Stanaway, black satin; Miss Hendson white and black satin; Miss Waite, floral chiffon; Miss Sus, blue taffeta; Miss K. Gordon, black silk and' gold; Miss O'Donald, floral georgette; Miss E. Nicholls, powder blue georgette; Miss V. Mann, pale pink crepe de chine; Miss D. Herdson, pink crepe de chine; Miss Jackson, blue crepe de chine; Miss Cairns, pink marocain and gold; Miss M. Sims, floral georgette; Miss Gates, blue silk and orange' shawl; Miss J. Armor, flame satin; Miss M. James, navy blue crepe de chine; Miss Fintow, powder blue satin.
