BODY IN SCRUB.
MISSING WOMAN FOUND. END OF STRENUOUS SEARCH. BLOCKHOUSE BAY DISTRICT. After a prolonged search, begun yesterday and continued to-day, in the Blockhouse Bay district, the body of Miss Eileen Murray, aged 31, of Manukau Road, Epsom, was found this morning lying near a track in some scrub near the corner of Williamson Street and Porter Street, Avondale. The discovery was made by Mr. Basil Daveron, of Blockhouse Bay, who was searching with Constable I. L. Finery, of Avondale. There was a bottle close to the body which apparently had contained poison. Miss Murray had suffered a nervous breakdown. She was missed from her home on Friday, and in consequence of a report that she had been seen near Blockhouse Bay, a big search party was organised there yesterday. The searchers had a strenuous day, as there is much scrub in the locality, and steep valleys leading out to the Manukau foreshore.
