FATAL NECK INJURY.
CLIVE RESIDENT'S DEATH. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIERj this day. John Cushing, a well-known resident of Clive, who was knocked down by a motor car yesterday, died this morning. He had just left a car which was being driven by Constable Murray at Clive, and was crossing the street when an approaching car knocked him down, one wheel passing over his neck.
