DEPARTMENT'S GOOD RECORD. (Bj Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Following a recent -announcement of the Railway Department's remarkable record* of punctuality in the times of arrival of suburban trains, the average being only 30 seconds late throughout the Dominion during the past financial year, it is officially stated that the North Island Main Trunk Limited expresses between Auckland and Wellington have arrived absolutely on time in both diiections every day since September 17»
