MELBOURNE, this day. For the gallops at Fleming-ton this morning the going was good. On the Tan. Beaunilly (G. Wenman) did the-best mile and a half of the season, registering 2.41, the firet six furlonge taking 1.17, the mile 1.44, and mile and a quarter 2.12. Middle Watch eaeily beat Spontoon over a mile in 1.49. Mulcra (H. Armsden) did th-e best mile, recording 1.44. Shadow King (P. Egan) covered a similar distance in 1.48, Illustrious taking 1.44%. Admiral Drake (Z. Whittle) and Prince Conceit (lightweight) ran ten ■ furlonge in 2.19. Roc (R. Lewis) and The Doctor's drdere ' (R. Bonee) covered five furlongs in .1.3%. Magnesia ran a mile in 1.45, the ■firet eix in 1.17. Sunballet ran-a<mile in 1.46. . ~ On the Grass. . Silent Bird (lightweight) covered ten furlongs in 2.14, <).nd Bridal Path: three . ihn.- 365. Bronze Hawk beat Per.petua over, eeven, furlongs in 1.32%. Johnnie Jason did useful work. Actaeon and Lady Part, ran seven furlongs in 1.32%. Derinid (G. Pownall) covered five furlongs,, going well, in..1.2. Kuvera (E. Baxter) beat Vairon' (F. Devallo) by four lengths in 4894s—the best half-mile of the morning. Liberal defeated Opera Bag and Thraciari Prince by four lengths in 495. Rnyal Barb (lightweight) did the best seven furlongs, recording 1.30%, Chetowalk (A. Wilson) ran- four furlonge in 50%6. Vauntry covered five furlongs in 1.5%; Lancegay juet beat Yarramba, Knight's Favour and Higli Command over-ten furlongs in 2.13. Segati ran seven furlongs in 1.31%. Debenture djd a similar distance in 1.18. Patroleah did four furlongs in 50%5. Celotex ran seven furlongs in 1.34.
