The Papakura Golf Club held Its official closing day on Saturday, the following being the winners of the various competitions :—-Mixed foursomes. J. and Mrs. Bradstreet ; approach and putt, Hall and Miss Coxhead; trick putt, Hogan and Miss M. Clarke; flag match. Mrs. L. H. Pegler; junior stroke competition, Mrs. E. D. McLcnnan.
The president, Mr. E. D. McLennnn, pre■pented trophies won during the year:— Men's championship, ,T. L. McCoy; Ryan Cup, G. T. Brebnec ; junior cup, A. Walton":' bogey competition, K. Matheson: medal rounds, J. T* McCoy and G. T. Brebner; ladies* senior chnmpionsliip. Miss Walker: runner-up. Miss White: Pernaig Cup. Miss O'Callaghan : junior championship-. Miss K. Brooks; club trophy, Miss O'Callaehan; gold button.- Mrs. Brooks; bogey and flag match, Miss Fiivlayson : Ty.G.U. bronze medal. Miss Walker: two medal rounds. Miss J. Walker: three best gross medal scores, Miss White: junior eclectic trophy, Mrs. P. Kidd: ringed hole competition. Misses M. Walters and White: medal rounds, Miss Wilkins, Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Pegler, Miss Brooks.
