MT. ALBERT GRAMMAR OLD BOYS.
The first annual meeting of the Mount Albert, Grammar Old Boys' Amateur Athletic Club was presided over last evening by the president, Mr. H. Ij. Towers, hon. secretary of the Auckland Centre, and C.A. The report disclosed thut despite a comparatively small membership, the club had a very successful season, and a decidedly high standard of athletic protiiiency was set for the first year. Two Auckland provincial titles were won by club members and minor placings in New Zealand track and field championships were also gained. Mention was made of the loss to both Auckland province and the Old Boys' Club, in particular, of h. Scbneidemnn, brilliant hop, step and jump exponent, who has been transferred to WellingXPn. Office bearers for the 1932-33 season ■were elected as follow :—Patron, Mr. V. W. Gamble (headmaster of Mount Albert Grammar School) ; president, Mr. H. L. Towers; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. McNiel; club captain, Mr. O. KerrTaylor; management committee, Messrs. H. L. Towers, H. McNiel, D. Kerr-Taylor. ,T. Mars, J. Campbell, T. S. Finlayson: delegates to Auckland Centre, Messrs. McNiel and Kerr-Taylor; hon. auditor, Mr. K. S. Harrop.
