Lowry, respectively president and secrotary of the Sunshine League at Hamilton, which reaped the benefit for the hospital funds.
Alt the subsequent entertainment the gathering stood for half a minute in tribute to the memory of B. P. Palmer. Mr. A. Waring, secretary of the South Auckland League, thanked the Auckland League and teams for their assistance to a worthy cause. He said that the fixture probably would be staged at Steele Park, Hamilton, next season. Other speakers were Messrs. B. K. Asher (Auckland selector), A. Harlock (president of Huntly Club), A. R. Turner (manager of the Auckland team) and J. Eddowes (chairman of the Auckland junior management).
