RAILWAY BOARD.
A meeting of the Railway Board is being held in Auckland. Members attending it are Mr. H. H. Sterling, chairman, Mr. D. Reese, Mr. E. Newman, Sir James Gunson and Mr. G. W. Reid. Mr. Reid returned yesterday to New Zealand after attending the Ottawa Conferencc.
Mr. J. A. Bell, secretary of the board, Mr. P. G. Roussell, General Manager of Railways, and his secretary, Miss Mowhinney, are in Auckland for the meeting. Routine business of the board will be dealt with to-day and to-morrow, and the Southern members will leave for Wellington by the Limited to-morrow evening.
