FRANKLIN CLUBS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Saturday. - Thirteen clubs were represented at the opening of the Pukekohe tennis season. The courts were declared open by the president, Mr. S. Campbell. A progressive tournament was won by Miss K. Johns (Pukekohe) and Mellsop (Pollok). The West Eud (Puni) courts were declared open by the president, Xlr. A. Duke. There was a large attendance. The prospects of a isuceessful tenuis season in Franklin are bright.
