SHARE OF LICENSE FEES.
PETITION TO PARLIAMENT. AUCKLAND LISTENERS' CLUB. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. A petition was presented to the House of Representatives this afternoon by Mr. M. J. Savage (Auckland West), on behalf of C. G. Scriingeour and eleven other reprcsentat*»es of the IZR Radio Club, Auckland, asking for a share of the revenue collected from radio license fees, or alternatively that approved B stations be permitted to broadcaet an unlimited number of sponsored programmes of sufficient publicity value to defray cost of maintenance. The petition etatee that there arc 2000 members of the Listeners' Club, which was formed to keep the IZR station on its full schedule.
