REAL ESTATE INSTITUTE.
MR. H. E. VAILE PRESIDENT. Members of the Auckland branch of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand gathered at Milne and Choyce's reception hall last evening for their annual meeting. Mr. S. E. Bennett, the retiring president, presided. The report and balance-sheet, which have been published, were adopted. Officers were elected as follow:—President, Mr. H. E. Vaile; vice-presidents, Messrs. S. W. Riekards and G. B. Osmond; committee, Messrs. T. B. Arthur, P. Balgarnie, S. E. Bennett, J. D. Campbell, H. G. C. Ernest, A. F. Frater, G. Hatcher, J. H. ■ Jackson, F. A. Jarrett, T. Mclndoe and F. Wade. An entertaining programme of music and stories was provided by Messrs. Alan McElwain, Eric Bell and Ralph Eskrigge.
