OVER EVEREST.
BRITISH PEER'S FLIGHT. RUGBY, September 21. The Marquess of Clydesdale has been selected as chief pilot to the British expedition which is to set out probably next month to fly over Mount Everest. The aeroplane to 'be used is a two seater, with a special engine and an oxygen-breathing apparatus. Lord Clydesdale is to toe accompanied only by a photographer. The Air Ministry is affording him every assistance, a3 is the Government of India. The Maharajah of Nepal, in whose territory Everest partly stands, has given permission for the flight.
