ITALIAN PROPOSAL.
WORLD-WIDE 40-HOUR WEEK. (" Times Cables.) LONDON, September 21. Tlie Geneva correspondent of "The Times" savs the governing body of the International Labour Office has taken the unprecedented action of convening a special session at the request of the Italian Government to discuss the immediate establishment of a worldwide working week of 40 hours. Italy believes this would absorb a large part-of the unemployed.'
