TRIPLE WEDDING CELEBRATION.

Mclaughlin—watson. It was a charming thought of Miss Joan Ngaire Watson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Ferrier Watson, of Lower Hutt, Wellington, to - celebrate

her marriage with Mr. T. Wills McLaughlin, second eon of Mr. and Mrs. T. McLaughlin, of Domett Avenue, Epsom, on the same day that the golden wedding of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Kinder, was honoured, while another link in the chain of happy events was the silver wedding of her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ferrier Watson. The altar of King's College Chapel, Middlemore, where the marriage was solemnised this afternoon, was arranged with spring flowers, and a beautifully decorated wedding bell occupying a central position. Canon Archdall performed the ceremony, and was assisted by the bride's uncle, the Kev. Cecil Watson. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an early Victorian gown of magnolia brocaded faille, the rows of frills on the skirt being picot edged. The rose point lace veil was an heirloom, which covered the face and fell in cascades, to form a long train. Orange blossom clusters were placed at the ears, and she carried a Victorian posy. The two bridesmaids in attendance were Misses Dorothy Shera and Patricia Matthews, of Lower Hutt, Wellington. Their dresses were fashioned alike, of apricot pink eilk chiffon, made on long Blender lines, with bolero coatees of ring velvet in deeper tones. The picture hats, of chip straw, were trimmed with a large jade green rose at the back, and sheafs of flowers were carried. Mr. Ted Firth was best man, and Mr. Tony Firth was the groomsman. After the ceremony, the triple celebrations were held at the beautiful home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Kinder, "Woodcroft," Arney Road, Remuera, where there were artistically arranged rooms, and a large marquee erected on the lawn. Pink predominated in the floral blooms, stocks, sweet peas, cyclamens, and hyacinths being used in profusion. The drawing room was arranged - with numerous bowls of primroses and yellow tea roses. The bride's mother wore a claretcoloured silk marocain, with lace yoke, and beige hat. Mrs. Harry Kinder, the grandmother, wore a Burgundy silk crepe de chine, with small coatee and vest of French Valenciennes lace, encrusted with diamante. A small black hat, with deep red mount, and a golden bouquet completed the ensemble. Mrs. George Shera, aunt of the bride, wore an opalesque blue crepe fleuri, with hat to match. Mrs. T. Wills McLaughlin, the bridegroom's mother, wore a beige Chantilly lace, with hat to tone.
