Mr. Mac Donald's Daughter Married. hospital ward romance. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, September 20.
Mr. Ramsay Mac Donald's daughter, Joan, was married to Dr. Alistair MacKinnon in Wendover Parish Church this morning. The Prime Minister chose the service, and pipers played the bride to the church, from Chequers. Joan, who is a qualified doctor, is the lirst bride to be married from Chequers since it became the official residence of the British Prime Minister. Dr. Joan MncDonakl and "Dr. MacKinnon met during their medical studies f.t hnburgh University. It i.s stated that +? ei 'i became acquainted when visiting the local hospital, a meeting that proved ; „ introduction to the romance that tollqwed. Dr. Mac Donald's engagement announced at the time she concluded aer studies and was capped.
