Five ships leaving New Zealand for London within the next two months are to"take 100,000 or more boxes of butter each, as well as large consignments of cheese. ■» No such large quantities of butter have been taken by any one ship for over a year, although several cargoes of over 80,000 boxes were sent away in November and December of last year, those vessels taking also considerable shipments of cheese. ■ As in previous years, the greater part of the dairy produce will come from Auckland Province. The first ship to take 100,000 boxes of butter this year will be the New Zealand Shipping Company's passenger steamer Remuera, whicn is to load at Wellington and Auckland, and sail finally from this port for London, via Panama, on October 22. Her allotment from Auckland comprises 82,000 boxes of butter, and she is also to load here 6500 crates of cheese, bringing her total allotment of cheese up to 21,000 crates. Scheduled to sail from Auckland for London, via Cape Horn, on November 5, the C. and D. Line motor ship Port Gisborne is to take 120,000 boxes of butter and 22.800 crates of cheese, of which she is to load at Auckland 100,000 boxes of butter and 8800 crates of cheese. The New Zealand Shipping Company's inotcr ship Opawa, sailing from Auckland for London, via Cape Horn, on November 12, is also to lift 100,000 boxes of butter here, making her total allotment 120,000 boxes, but she is to take 2200 more crates of cheese than the Port Gisborne.

Part ■of the cargo allotted to the Federal steamer Norfolk, totalling 100,000 boxes of butter and 19,500 crates of cheese, is to be discharged at West Coast ports of Great Britain.
