RUGBY FOOTBALL.
TO-MORROW'S PROGRAMME.
UNIVERSITY TO MEET GRAMMAR. HARD MATCH EXPECTED. With the ground in good condition after the rain, the match between University and Grammar Old Boys, which will be staged at Eden Park to-morrow afternoon as the Auckland Rugby Union's main attraction, should be splendidly fought out. As the position now stands at present Grammar are showing the way to Ponsonby by one point, and a victory to University over the championship leaders would place Ponsonby, provided the blue and blacks defeat Marist Old Boys in the curtain-raiser, one point in front. University will, be particularly anxious to win to-morrow's engagement,- as a further defeat will mean that they have no chance of winning the championship. Other senior championship matches will be played on suburban grounds. Training College will meet Manukau at the Showgrounds, and Grafton and College Rifles will claeh at Gribble-Hirst Park.
