DWELLING AT MANGERE. A young man, Mr. A. Prangley, jun., who was sleeping a<lone in hie father's house in Grey Street, near Mangere Crossing, awoke at one o'clock this morning to find the house in flames. He had some difficulty in making his exit. The Otahuhu Fire Brigade was called, but they found the roof falling in. They concentrated on saving a large glasshouse and outhouses, and in this they were successful. It was raining heavily at the time. Mr. Prangley's relatives were in Hamilton.
