AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. The match between M. D. White and L. F. Holdsworth in the Auckland Provincial amateur billiard championship (Billiards, Limited, Shield) attracted a- large attendance last night, the former winning by'l3o points. The final scores were :—White, 500 ; breaks of 56, 73, 24, 35, 31, 23; Holdsworth, 364; breaks of 27, 29, 44, 21. To-night K. V. Roberts (holder) will be opposed by H. A. Massey. The draw for the semi-finals is:—W. E. Hackett v. L. G. Hemua, Monday; M. V>. White v. winner E. V. Roberts and H. A. Massey, Tuesday.
