RADIO EXHIBITION.
IMPRESSIVE DISPLAY. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 21. ..The British Radio Exhibition, §tsged at a cost of £50,000 in a great glass house at Olympia, opened yesterday and will remain open until August 27. The impressive range and quality of the exhibits, combined with a'marked reduction in prices since last year, are striking illustrations of the progress of the British electrical trade. An increase in the number of registered radio sets to nearly 5,000,000 marks a transition of wireless from a luxury to an essential facility. In addition to cheapness the chief features of the 1932 models are simplicity of design, improved reproduction, greater range and selectivity'. Notable advances have been made in valve and battery design.
