! FLUCTUATIONS !N SHARES. WEEK OPENS BRISKLY. GOOD LIST OF SALES. The Auckland Stock Exchange commenced a new week with a healthy tone, and there were more sales at the first call than is usually the ease on a Monday morning. Week-end quotations were reinstated, and in some cases buyers advanced their oilers. Bank of New Zealands were steady, with buyers still offering £2 7/3. Commercial prefs. v.-ere again in demand, and a sale at £6 17/3 represented the highest figure realised for a considerable period. Dalgety's shares •were asked for at £7 10/, and Goldsbrough, Morts had buyers at £1 4/. New Zealand Breweries had a sale 3d higher at £1 7/3. Colonial Sugars eased 5/, with offers to sell at £45 a/: Government stocks were quiet and unchanged. The Noon Call. New Zealand Breweries held firm at the higher price, and two further sales were recorded at £1 7/3, with further buyers still in the market at £1 7/. Wilsons Portland Cements advanced 3d on the last sale. In the mining section there was a further fall in Okaritos to 8/4, and buyers had dropped to 8/. The banking section showed no change in values, and the only variation in insurance stocks was National, for which buyers rose to 13/, with none offered. SALES COMPLETED. Last Sale.
