MOUNT ALBERT GRAMMAR.

REUNION OF OLD BOYS. Started in 1022, the Mount Albert Grammar School has already a certain background of associations and one of the most encouraging featured of the school life is the keen interest taken in it by the members of the Old Boys' Association. Over 40U were present at a reunion of the issoc.ation held at the school on Saturday evening. Mr. V. C. Butler, president, was in the chair, and there were present representatives of the Board of Governors and kindred associations. In proposing the toast of the school, Mr. Butler referred to the steps taken by the association to help in providing a gymnasium at the school house, towards the cjdt of which the members had guaranteed ;C1(X). Mr. |.<\ W. Gamble, the headmaster, replied and referred to the many difficulties that had been surmounted in putting the school on its present firm foundation. Mr. U. S., Hintz proposed "J he Board of Governors," and Mr. A. St. C. Brown repl.ed. The toast or "Kindred Associations" was proposed by Mr. D. Sumner and responded to by Mr. A. J. Billiugton, Auckland Grammar School Old Boys' Association. Music was provided by the school orchestra. Messrs. L. J. Stewart, G. Carder, G. S. Coldham and D. Tasker. A party of old boys visited the school yesterday, and was afterwards entertained at the school house at afternoon tea. The reunion will end this evening with a ball at the Peter Pan Cabaret.
