SEDDON AS MINER.
In tlie article "Golden Coast" printed in your paper on the 10th inst. it is stated that Mr. E. J. Seddon was never engaged in mining. I bog to differ. Mr. Seddon, with M. D. Holmes and W. Barnett, took up a claim of 50 acre# on January 1, 1883, and registered in the warden's court at Hokitika, for which ha paid in rent £2 10/ for the first year and £5 for the second. The claim was transferred on June 10, 1885, to the Kuniara Long Tunnel Gold Company. G. AisDREWS.
