Mr. L. J. Stevens returned from Xapier this morning. Dr. E. Marsden, secretary to the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, went to Kotorua yesterday. The Rev. W. Bower Black, of St. David's Presbyterian Church, Auckland, is in Christchurch. He has been on a visit to South Westland. Mr. Cyril A. Snedden, president of the Xew Zealand Rugby Football League, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. P. H. Hillary, president of the Xational Beekeeping' Association of Xew Zealand, was in Auckland to-day on official business. Sir George fowkle left for Palnicrston North last evening, to be present at a meeting of the Miissey Agricultural College Council. Mr. A. Oman Heany, secretary of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of Xew Zealand, arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning. He in at the Grand Hotel. Mr. T. O. Bishop, secretary of the Xew Zealand Employers' Federation, and Mr. A. W. Croskery, secretary of the Xew Zealand Shop Assistants' Federation, returned to Wellington last night from Auckland. Mr. F.
