A feature of the shoot in the Lov.itt Cup series at' the Wangaimi Miniature Hifle Club Inst night was the success of the younger competitors. Two junior members, A. Doel and I. Conway, shot the possible (with handicaps} and succeeded In tieing with A. Angelo. D. Petterson, E. Foot. F. Tebbutts and R. McDonald. In Ibo linal shoot-off T. Conway shot another possible and was declared the winner. In n practice match for the. purpose of selecting a team to shoot for the teams nntl individual matches arranged by the Asliburfon Club. 11. Ashton. at 2~> yards, shot 21!" consecutive hull's eyes.
\V. r>. Stack .inil G. Green held the president's badjres. staving off a challenge from W. S. Clark and H. Bobbins, the totals being 124 to 120. The • Buckley Boosters changed hands. J. Courtney, who has held the trophy for some time, had it taken from him by A. Doel, who shot 65 off the rifle.
