CLAIM SETTLED.
ALLEGATIONS WITHDRAWN. TE PUKE FARM CASE. The Supreme Court action which was begun yesterday before Mr. Justice Herdmn'n, and in which Laurence Matthew Murray, of Te Puke, farmer, claimed from Charles Houston, of Hastings, farmer, £2016 damages, alleging false representation in connection with the sale of a farm to plaintiff, was adjourned pending a settlement by consent this morning. Counsel for defendant stated that the ease had been settled on terms satisfactory to both parties, and plaintiff withdrew all the allegations he had made against the defendant.
