There is a popular opinion that Auckland has a good opportunity to '"Sgister a win. This is based on the :J&ct that the Englishmen had to fight hlfcd to succeed in the first Test against a lighter ahd young thirteen. The local playerg. have,, been showing good form in *trainrt!£> *and as the members of the side are soY acquainted with each other's reveal combination when in action.
The rearguard is strengthened, particularly in the outside positions, which were weaknesses last Saturday. The Mnrist full-back, Campbell, should do well behind a fast and resourceful threequarter line pivoted by Ben Davidson. Median and List will take some stopping if Cooke and Brisbane function as expected. Hassan will show enterprise behind the serum. Tf G. Campbell has a fair share of the ball, the rearguard will keep the British team very busy. The pack is virile and well balanced, with second-row men who arc fast raiders all the way.
