FLUCTUATIONS 5N SHARES. BUSINESS KEEPS UP. BUSY AT MID-DAY. A fair amount of business has been put through the local Stock Exchange during the past 21 hours. Values in the banking section are rather h*; mer. New Zealands advanced further, with a sale yesterday afternoon at £2 8/. At the same call Commercials changed hands 2d better at 14/, and this morning National Bank of Australasias were asked for at £10 10/. The insurance section, too, was firm, and New Zealands again sold at £1 19/9, after which there were sellers at £2. In Government issues 4%'s were on offer at £96 10/, with buyers still steady at a pound less. Kempthorne. Prossers were in demand at £2 13/, and Gear Meat at £1 12/. The Noon Call.
