FLUCTUATIONS 5N SHARES. BUSINESS KEEPS UP. BUSY AT MID-DAY. A fair amount of business has been put through the local Stock Exchange during the past 21 hours. Values in the banking section are rather h*; mer. New Zealands advanced further, with a sale yesterday afternoon at £2 8/. At the same call Commercials changed hands 2d better at 14/, and this morning National Bank of Australasias were asked for at £10 10/. The insurance section, too, was firm, and New Zealands again sold at £1 19/9, after which there were sellers at £2. In Government issues 4%'s were on offer at £96 10/, with buyers still steady at a pound less. Kempthorne. Prossers were in demand at £2 13/, and Gear Meat at £1 12/. The Noon Call. A very healthy tone was manifest during the morning, and at the noon call an exceptional amount of business was put through, mainly on the basis of recent quotations. SALES COMPLETED. Last Sale.
