SUCCESSFUL DANCE.
The Peter Pan Cabaret was attractively arranged last evening, when the first annual dance of the Auckland Junior Chamber of Commerce was attended by a large number of guests. The members of the reception committee were: Mrs. A. G. Brown, who wore a gown of cherry soupb satin; Mrs. A. M. Doull, pastel pink satin and small black satin coat; Mrs. J. E. Beaclien, fuchsia satin beaute; Mrs. E. H. McIlveen, cinnamon brown satin; Miss N. Phillips, parchment lace; Miss W. Hood, in ivory flowered glace silk, with blue chenille coatee. Among others present were: Mrs. E. Verran, black flowered taffeta; Mrs. K. M. Sheffield, flowered chiffon and opalesque blue taffeta; Mrs. G. S. Poole, ravens wing blue ninon; Mrs. A. Walker, black lace; Mrs. A. Oldfield, peach flowered lace and silk; Miss M. Robinson, blue spotted net and lace; Miss Marjorie Hetherington, ivory satin and black velvet coatee; Miss M. Gadsby, ivory satin and pastel greeu sash; Miss Russell, sage green ninon and satin; Miss Betty McGregor, almond green souple satin; Miss 11. Robertson, pastel pink chiffon and blue taffeta; Miss Brysson Poole, pale pink satin beaute; Miss E. Prince, pastel green taffeta; Miss M. Draffin, black georgette; Miss Menzies, briar rose satin crepe; Miss M. Hardman, black satin; Miss Lynn Court, apple green ninon, embossed in tones of primrose and cherry; Miss J. Stirling, leaf green satin; Miss P. Hilton, mulberry panne velvet; Miss E. Marshall, ivory' georgette, embossed in gold and red; Miss Joyce Keeley, black ninon, gold lame coatee; Misa E. Green well, ivory satin faille; Miss J. Thomson, pastel green tulle and taffeta; Miss Barrier, shell pink souple satin; Miss N. Grinter, pale pink frilled fische net; Miss P. Segar, black flowered taffeta; Miss M. Woolley, black tulle and gold lace; Miss E. Billing, black georgette; Miss Kinnear, daffodil taffeta; Miss I. Pratt, shell pink taffeta; Miss Jones, grey and white floral net; Miss I. Jeffs, ivory georgette; Miss R. Poole, flame souple satin; Miss D. George, black georgette; Miss W. Waters, black lace; Miss Lamb, shell pink georgette. An exhibition of the quickstep was given by Miss Margaret O'Connor and Mr. Eric Browne.
