BOUGHT FOR SYDNEY LIBRARY.
LONDON, July 29.
The Mitchell Library in Sydney has bought at Sotheby's, for £255, the autographed manuscript of 61 pages by John Fryer, jnaster of the Bounty, describing the mutiny and the sufferings of Bligh, Fryer, and the 17 others who made the famous boat voyage to Timor. The same library has bought a five-page letter of Fryer to his wife announcing the arrival of the Bounty's boat at Timor.
