THIEF IN SCHOOL.
A thief visited the Edendale School, Sandringham Road, last night, gaining entrance by forcing a window close to the front door. A thorough search was made of the desks and tables and 14/9 was taken in pence and half-pence belonging to ■ various school funds. Nothing else was stolen.
