The body was conveyed to the morgue, where an autopsy was commenced this afternoon by Drs. Murray and Gilmour.
It is understood, that the body exhumed was that of a man who died early in January last, the cause of death being certified as cerebral hemorrhage.
The utmost secrecy was observed by the authorities in the actual carrying out of the exhumation. For some time there have been rumours that police action of this nature was to be adopted, but when the cemetery was visited there were no curious sightseers.
