DAIRY INDUSTRY.
KAIFARA COMPANY. ANNUAL MEETING HELD. The twenty-first annual general meeting of tlio Ivaipara Co-operative Dairy Factory Company, Ltd., was held at Helensville. The chairman, Mr. A. Hanson, referred to the low prices ruling and said ho eonfeidered the result of the year's operations very satisfactory, with a pay out of 12d per lb net for Rupcrfine butterfat. He noted with alarm that the figures relating to herd testing showed a drop during the last three years. He commented on the activities of the Empire Marketing Board and emphasised the importance of farmers buying British goods. The report and balance-sheet, with the directors' decision to pay Oi per cent dividend on paid-up shares, were adopted. Mr. A. Hanson was re-elected chairman of directors. Messrs. Hutchison, Elliffo and Cameron were rcappointed auditors.
