WAIHI COMPANY. (By Telegraph,—Special to " Star.") WAIHI, this day. The following information has been cabled to London : —■ For the period ended June 25, comprising 22 crushing days, 15,302 tone of ore were crushed for a result of 0177 tine ounces of cold nnd 41.114 tine ounces of silver. This includes ISI7 tons mined from the Grand Junction area, which yielded 853 line ounces or gold and 4701 fine ounces of silver. No. 4 Level.—Driving on the Surprise lode west of No. 2 shaft cross-cut: The next. 51 feet assays 27/U per ton. No. 10 Level Winze on Edward Lode.— Sinking is stopped at. 104 feet, and we are now investigating at No. 11 level. Empire Lode. —Hangingwall drive in Junction area is now a total length of 315 feet. We are now cross-cutting towards the Empire lode. No. 11 Level (north section of Empire lo,l e ). —'Xhe last drive has been advanced 10 feet, assay value being 2(1/ per ton. At 103 feet a crosscut south has exposed 12 feet of reef assaying 25/S per ton, and north S feet, assaying 22/! l per ton. No. 12 Level (Martha lode). —The cast drive is now a total of 204 feet.
