RELIEF "DRIVE" AT TAMAKI.

DISTRICT TO BE COMBET. MOTOR CARS FREELY OFFERED. Thf) Tamaki Unemployed Relief -Advisory Committee is holding a cash, clothes and food drive in the Tamaki district to-morrow. Motor cars havo been freely offered by residents of the district and a circular has been sent to every resident drawing attention to what 13 being done. Mr. F. Baskett, chairman of the committee, in a letter etates that there i* a good deal of distress and everything collected or given will be distributed in tho district. "Thorough arrangements havo been made," he says, "to see that the gifts get into the hands of those who need thorn most. The drive will start at 9 a.m. and the whole district will be thoroughly combed. It is earnestly hoped that "all resident* will have in readiness lefit-off clothing, hoots and shoes of all kinds, as women have to bo catered for as well as men. Cash donations will be particularly useful, and food in the form of vegetables or anything eatable will be of great assistance."
