THE LAW BALL.

A .scene of animation was presented at the Petev Pan Cabaret last evening when the fifteenth animal Law ball was held. With shaded lights and niasses of greenery -the cabaret looked most attractive. 'Tall stands containing, palms and bamboo were to be seen in the entrance, and in each corner of the room nud on the small tables which surrounded the floor were vases of narcissi. A feature of the evening was tho playing by the orchestra of a number of old melodies, which had been arranged, to suit modern dancing, and a most enjoyable time was spent by the dancers. On the supper tables in the adjoining room ,_rnoro beautiful bloome of spring to bo seen.
